Bali Crystal Divers is a PADI 5 Star Career Development Centre with 2 in-house Course Director including Award Winning Platinum Course Director Minni Vangsgaard. We were the first PADI Career Development Centre in Indonesia and we are one of the few dive operations to receive several PADI awards for our Instructor Development Programs.
Our award winning team has years of experience in the diving and tourism industry. Working together with our local and international instructors, our goal is to provide first class service, catering to the individual needs of our clients.

Minni Vangsgaard
Award-winning Platinum Course Director Minni Vangsgaard and owner of Crystal Divers is a Mentor with a golden heart and vast experience conducting IDC’s around the world. Minni was the first Course Director in Bali and awarded Best Course Director in Australia and Asia 2007 as well as voted Best Instructor by Asian Diver magazine. Minni was awarded numerous times by PADI for OUT STANDING contribution to the dive industry and in 2012 for the PADI Diver training Scholarship Program in Indonesia. In 2013 she was awarded with the award Water Sports Mentor of the Year. Minni has literally taught the world to dive with many thousands of pro level certifications and contacts around the world. Minni’s passion and drive to train candidates to the highest level possible will help you achieve goals you never dreamed of. As the family of Crystal Dive Centres expand you will never be far from “probably the best Course Director in the world”!
Alex Walker
PADI Course Director Alex Walker is originally from the UK and has been an instructor since 2003 when he took the chance to leave chilly England and follow a dream he had from the age of 13 when he learned to dive. Fast forward 15 years and have gained lots of experience in the dive industry mostly around South East Asia Alex is sharing his passion of diving by mentoring candidates on the IDC with the goal of creating the best instructors in the industry. Alex is also a Disabled Divers International Instructor Trainer and believes everyone in this world has the opportunity to experience the underwater world that we all find so amazing! Alex’s calm and patient demeanor is only surpassed by his legendary dance moves and willingness to assist people to live the dream by becoming a PADI Professional today! What are you waiting for?!
Gusde
IDC Staff Instructor born and raised in Bali. Gusde’s home town in Ubud far from the water and his journey to become a PADI professional is inspiring and he’s now bringing this life-changing skill to others. Gusde started in the house keeping department and moved to the “equipment room” where he taught himself English during the day in addition to his duties. In the evening Gus would jump into the swimming pool and taught himself to swim such was the desire to learn how to dive! Once he tried a DSD he knew that one day his goal was to become a PADI professional and working hard and going the extra mile he achieved this in 2014 when he completed his DM. In 2015 Gus completed his instructor course where he could finally share his passion with guests from around the world. Gus has an infectious character and always has a smile on his face and in 2016 was recognized as a PADI Ambassador! Gus is an integral part of our pro-level team and loves teaching all PADI specialties! “diving has changed my life! I want to change yours too”.
Crystal Divers – a 5 star PADI CDC Center
The PADI Career Development Center (CDC) classification is awarded annually to PADI Five Star Instructor Development Centers and Five Star Instructor Development Dive Resorts that dedicate their businesses to professional development beyond regular scuba instructor training and meet the highest requirements for training PADI scuba diving leaders. PADI CDCs offer career-oriented training to prepare scuba diving professionals for employment in the dive industry, as well as offering job placement assistance for program graduates.
